Hal refused his pinky tonight, I think he may be blue, anyway I hate waste so see if Spot wants it, he turns his nose up too, thought maybe as a treat, Waka might want it but no he is sulking because he was cleaned out. So who took the pinky mouse in the end?

SAM DID!!!

My not so little Tarantula was offered it on tongs, came over quite gently, not used to tong feedings but quite interested in what was going on, she quite gently bit the mouse and dragged it to her burrow. So yeah my spider is now eating mice, not sure how i feel about this yet.

Well, she is a bird-eater after all - she needs her first class protein. Clever lass. No difference between a snake eating a pinkie and a spider eating a pinkie, but oh boy will you have to watch your fingers in future!

Got to love Tarantulas, this afternoon I went to check for and remove the leftovers and she has rolled it into a little ball and carried it out from her burrow and into the far corner of the tub, a little bundle of bones neatly rolled into mud, it fairly stunk but very neat.
