Slightly off topic, how often do they wee? Mine not poo'd yet (only had her since Monday) and I dont think she's had a wee either. Is that normal? Poo is easier to spot haha although I'd of thought I'd smell it if she has wee'd? |

I asked this the other day too as I'm using aspen substrate and my viv has lots of places I can't see without pulling things out so wanted to know how often I should be looking, I was told not very often so hopefully the smell will give it away when he does, only had Marty since last weekend and his last feed was 13 days ago and he's just poo'd now so if that's anything to go by I'd say a couple of times a month lol |

Royals don't do it that often (not like stinky corns) and even a small royal will go a long time without making a mess. Adult royals often only leave a mess when they shed ie it can be weeks ...must feel like giving birth to Stonehenge lol.
Every time I water change I do check my lot, but don't worry if it's a long time before you see anything.
Royal wee can be solid, like mint imperials, but they do leave a nice load of liquid too, along with the royal log ... |

I've only ever had one Royal wee, the rest have just been black baseball bats with accompanying baseballs. |

From my experience royals don't like to get their substrate wet... hence some wees are done in the bath but it must be said that to date, 3 wees have taken place on my person.
Oh and she dropped a log on the newly re-upholstered sofa the other day... got a yelling from the parents. Was quite a monster though... my mum couldn't believe it came from her! |
