So been looking into DWA animals recently, mostly because one day in the future I'd love to own a cobra but more recently because there is a temple viper I want in my local shop!
Got in contact with a guy who keeps gaboons close to me and he said he can help out but his gab's are all babies at the moment so I can't get much experience with them especially for a flighty viper.
Spoke to the chap in my local exotics about getting some mentoring but due to insurance issues they're not allowed, however he is sending me some details of a training course that deals with plenty of DWA snakes and gets you really hands on with them, so with any luck in a few months I may be applying for my licence :) |
