I wouldn't have said retained shed - looks like dehydration to me, I may be wrong though.

Slinky gets wrinkly just before a shed, but not as much as moet. Bit of dehydration and pre shed possibly. How is the fawn set up? Heating type, temps, humidity, size of water bo etc.

I'm sure there used to be comments as I remember seeing the first pic of the pinky and him eating it and the question being asked if the food was big enough etc etc unless there has been duplicates .
I also do think that a few pics of the set up and a check of temps should be done as, going through a few books and looking at dehydration it looks pretty darn similar. I personally would also give him a few warm baths for the next few days an see if there's any improvement, and add a sphagnum moss to a hide. Plus if he is in just in shed then it will help all the same. Maybe also do a check for mites.

If you look at the 9th pic down,Looks to be retained shed to.As theres cracking of the skin, and over the eye.

So could have been abit of both.Think he's got it all sorted now anyway,As there's another post somewhere saying he has.
