Morning all, as title says my albino has eaten again and just in time, he had just started loose weight and I was weighing up my options, I had to leave the food in overnight as be has never strike fed with me, this time I done things slightly different, I lifted his hide off of him and moved it next to him I rubbed a defrosted mice nxt to his nose, I didn't heat the mouse up, I put the mouse on top of his hide, everyone else in the house was asleep, I went to play my Xbox, I went to bed at 2.30 am and had a look to see the mouse still there but he looked intrested, I thought at this point I had ruined the feed, I went to sleep and woke upat 5.30 am and it was gone.
On other news fruit pastel strikes and missed then refused to eat Sassy was the same. Pinstripe has now missed three feeds im offering every 7 days till she feeds then will put on a 5 day routine. Unfotunatly while weighing I realised that she still had I, i have kept her in a different room she has now been tested with some vetenary strength stuff and is on kitchen towel only

They all go back to feeding when they are ready lol. Sure you are relieved anyway and shame about the mites (if that's what I means lol). |

Yes it is kelfezond Great guess lotabob dunno what happened there,
And im delighted that he has taken again its the first Time I've had to deal with a fast and im sure there is many more to come, its more nerve racking then I imagined it would be, no matter how much I prepared and read about it, no matter how many times I replied on peoples threads not to worry that there pet snakes where off there food, part of me was worried.
And yes the mites is a shame but I knew it was a possibility when I bought her so I have been extra vigilant with all four of them this is also a first but I think im mentally prepared for this one
I wonder what other first my royals have in store for me still waiting to be tagged for a start I wonder if that's next |

haha yes Its a whole world of firsts. I'm 2 years in and had a first today, was laying on the floor watching Sanke eat she swallowed it down and I could see her body squeezing at the lump bit and I heard about 5 loud crunch noises that I think had to be the bones of the mouse snapping. Anyway I pick her up to put her back and I feel her squeeze again and then I feel the mouse crunching and breaking inside her. |
