Hi guys,

I've had an interest in the tree boa for a while now, and I am considering getting one next year some time.

I was just wondering if anyone owns/owned one of these dudes before and can share some advice/info? Also i'm getting the impression these dudes arnt easy to come by??? :/

like rocking horse poo to come by specially over this side of the Irish Sea (i take it your a Tyrone lad) though GTPs are available over here if you know who to ask and they are quite similar in their care, temperament etc. I'll keep my ear to the ground though, should one pop up I'll point you in their direction.

as for the snake itself, they are seriously impressive.

They do change colour when they get older sometimes start a red and yellow and turn green beautiful snakes but the temperament can be a bit bad ass

From what I've read and heard, they have very similar husbandry requients. The ETBs are a little less robust

Mid 80s daytime high seventies nighttime
60-80% humidity higher at night
Feed far less regularly than a royal
They can't be sexed until they're about 2years old so watch out if you're after a breeding pair
