As my rack is nearly ready I'm looking for a good idea how to place thermostat probe. I know it would be probably best to put it directly into the rub but when I pull the rub out and then pus it back in the probe will probably move. What would be best solution for that? Cheers
On my rack I won't be able to fit small rub as there is no room for that. All I can use is about half an inch on each side of the rub (outside of it) and about one inch on the back. The rack is fully closed (apart from the front) so probably it won't give me too many choices. That's what I thought - probe in the rub doesn't seem to be a great idea.
It should be ok as its inclosed The ambient shouldn't be affected to much Mines open and it holds fine
Just make sure when you push the rub (with the probe) back it don't know the probe Have it running for 24//48 hours and keep checking the temps at diffrent times on the day / night
