Hello,
Fed CC today 1 small mouse and I assumed he/she'd be a little sluggish after eating but tonight I saw him/her after the light turned off for the night and he/she was quite active.
Is this normal? Or does it mean I need to feed him/her more?

Thank you.

Holly.

Might still be hungry or hunting but if you're confident the food size was right then I wouldn't worry sometimes they just get greedy :)

I find this all the time in the summer, they just carry on as normal, in the winter when ambient temps are down though they go to the warm place and stay still for a few days (apart from Duke that just stops eating lol).

I think he's just pushing his luck and being a piggy!
Is there any problem if you over feed them? (other than them getting fat...can they get obese?)

I've never had an obese snake (most of mine won't even touch their food let alone gorge on it) however I would assume it was rather easy to tell, it would probably have more a circular shape to it rather than the oblong-triangular one we have with our healthy ones as well as having more spacing between the scales than normal.
