Its cool, i found it, looks like you have some informative vids on youtube, iv just subscribed, looks pretty similar to the setup i have, iv just literally taken a few photos a few mins ago so you can see.





Just using kitchen towel as substrate, its what iv used for the corns before. The hide is in the middle between the warm and cold end, as advised by the pet store, would you think its better just in the warm end?

On a smaller set up like that I wouldn't imagine it can hurt in the middle. Royals do need to thermoregulate their body temperatures by going from hot to cool but I'm sure he's capable of doing that without hides. (Personally I'd just stick it in the warm end though as that's how all my rubs are set up)

They could have a rubber stopper,if you choose not to use it.
