I was reading my Boa book and there it says potting compost( without perlite) makes a good, natural substrate.
Have you heard of this or even better used it? |

Posted - 14/01/2012 : 20:23:27 yeh it worked really well, easy to clean, dont smell,i dryed mine out for oscur, but it is good at holding moisture. If i remember right it did stain her belly after a few years. I went to it because i used corn cob, which beardy ate,and vet adviced me of this. She lived for 14 years on it quite happy. Im 36-7 now and i was 24 when she died so it was some years ago. |
