I don't know if any of the Dark side people have been following the thread on the Garter snake from Wombwell, but I've been to pick the little fella up this afternoon and he's tiny!!!!
Basically, this lad in my village had a garter that wouldn't eat and he was scared it had parasites and couldn't afford to take it to the vets. I've took it in for a few weeks to try and sort it out for him.
He doesn't seem to have any signs of illness at the moment, but I'm waiting to have a good look at his poo before I taking him to the vets. Hopefully he's just a non-eater so I can deal with that a lot better.
I was told he was tiny, so expected that I might have to start him on earthworms to get him going onto pinkies, but he's too small for them! Only thing I can think of now is to try mouse tails on there own. Has anyone else got any ideas? |

No, I Pm'd him on the dark side the other day but no reply as yet. I've not seen any 'help' threads on the site either though, so I guess he's probably alright now. |

Kaz has a cold and is sparked out on the sofa so here's the pics of Grendel she promised... I can't take credit for the photos though, she took these yesterday before Grendel went back.

I've told him to keep me informed and not hesitate to contact me if he has trouble again. Hopefully he'll be fine now. |

Yes, I've been keeping in touch.
The little Garter (we called him Grendal, but don't know what the lad calls him) went back last night.
I have taken some more pics though so I'll get them up soon. |

He's doing great. He's had two meals of salmon now so he's even taking non-moving food.
He'll be going back to his real owner soon. I daren't tell Lewy. He'll be gutted. |
