Hi Guys,

I have a Boa Contrictor, but I am unsure of the differences between a BCC and a BCI? I don't know what my one is? Can someone help me please.

I cant upload photos where I am but if you click my facebook link below you can see him on my page....

Your BCI looks fantastic, Cookie and looks to be about the same size as my male, Diablo. :)

no problem. the true red tail BCC's have the bright red tail, come BCI's have a red tail but not as bright.
there are other ways to tell but cant remember what they are.
theres a good boa group on facebook the people on there will be able to explain the differences

Lol MTV rocks!

I had initially wanted a red tail boa, they are beauties, but I ended up buying this dude one day when I was only looking a new viv! He was soo skinny when I got him and he can get pritty grumpy at times lol

Thanks for the advice dudes. This forum rocks, dunno how I never came across it before lol

Oh dear, MTV! really? -tuts-
I'm not great with boa's but I believe BCC is the red tail Columbian Boa which is obviously very red on the tail?
Correct me if I'm wrong I'm sure Chris knows more about this than I

Sweet dude thanks.
Just out of interest is there somewhere on this forum that explains the difference or is there an easy way to tell?
