£6 for a large sheet of 0.9cm squared mesh. Could make two out of it but I messed up the first one lol.

Here it is.


I did manage to make my vent of 100mm x 1200mm for when I rebuild my boas 4 foot tank. As back board is loose.

do these guards get hot at all? i was thinking of making one but was worried they might do as they dont have the protective coating?

great job there.
my wife uses small pinch rings in her jewallry making these could be used as hindges ! then its just a case of getting a small looped spring ( hobby craft ) to secure the door into place.

I did manage to make two out of it. Instead of making a net. I cut all the sides separately. So I did and still had load left over. But not enough for a third lol

And the bottom opening would be good but being held in by 2 screws. Isn't a massive issue lol

If you can get two out of it for £6.00 that's cheap! Next step is to get the bottom to open for easier bulb changing.....
