Posted - 07/09/2012 : 18:09:32 I gave my vivs the Ardap treatment on Monday. Boris had about 10 mites. Everything seemed ok. Got him out just now and he had a small black mite under his chin! Does this mean the Ardap didnt work? Yukky things! |

Posted - 07/09/2012 : 19:04:50 Best to do the bath thing and keep an eye on it They like to get near the vent as well as under the chin
Good luck ;) |

Posted - 07/09/2012 : 18:45:48 I was under the impression that they have to come in contact with the spray How would the die ? As theres no fumes to kill them

Posted - 07/09/2012 : 18:42:47 I picked it out from under the scale and squashed it! Doesnt spraying the viv kill them then? I am very confused. This was a smaller one than before. |

Posted - 07/09/2012 : 18:39:44 The mites have to come in contact with the ardap Best to do a very shallow bath (30-32c) and pop I tiny bit of fairy liquid to break the water surface And it should disturb it and either move from under his chin or die Repeat every now and then
Hope you get the mites sorted soon |
