Posted - 09/11/2012 : 17:13:37 Hi guys. I was in the park today and I have seen some nice, dry leaves of maple. They are all nice and clean and I thought it would be possibly good substrate and also extra hide for young snakes. The could fell secure in there as it would be like a part of their natural environment. What you guys think about it? |

Why not buy a pre cleaned/dried bag from one of the frog shops? |

Posted - 09/11/2012 : 20:28:32 Dead foliage and humidity will normally make a great breeding ground for mould. I dont think there is any risk to a snake from a maple leaf though. |
