Awesome news. Always satisfying when they eat

Oscar has taken his rat, laid it out and licked it before nibbling its front paw then gently opening his jaws and eating him properly from the head. Bizarre

Makes the food item seem more alive still n that they have to fight for dinner instead of thinking its nothing

my amazon tree boa does it. the way I have got it to stop and just eat it is ,when the snake strikes hang on to the mouse with the tongs for a lot longer and they usually eat it straight way.
