Just offered a large mouse snake nailed it curled then let go. I thought ok thats odd go in to pick mouse up and he runs (ok slithers) straight back over to it before i can get to it and starts chomping down from its head...weird! |

Oscar has taken his rat, laid it out and licked it before nibbling its front paw then gently opening his jaws and eating him properly from the head. Bizarre |

Makes the food item seem more alive still n that they have to fight for dinner instead of thinking its nothing |

my amazon tree boa does it. the way I have got it to stop and just eat it is ,when the snake strikes hang on to the mouse with the tongs for a lot longer and they usually eat it straight way. |

My royal does this. I just leave it over night n usually gone. My boa also does this. Very weird |
