Or pop along to Snakes N Adders and speak to Chaz or Paul there, sure they'd help out.

Dazb lives in Sheffield, he may be able to help or I am not too far away and have had to assist a couple of animals if not.

Thing is, when I finally try to do a video I hope it shows the degree of patience and the gentle pressure/force you use. This really is something I think people should be shown in rep shops when they buy royals.

i totally agree Karl, but not all rep shops are as good as the one you spoke about, so your video is going to be priceless,

i need to learn to do this to.

Where in the country are you Rob?

thanx. rob

Hi Rob, i spoke to someone a little while ago about your babies,
and what i got back was this..

Try them on live for three to four feeds, preferably multis if they can be obtained, once you have the gut recognizing (food which normally takes this many feeds, sometimes less sometimes more)..you can then start to switch to fresh killed and then defrost...i am told it is much easier switching when they are very young than when they are older.

where in the UK are you based?

thats what i alwaws thought BE,

but i have learnt on my travels that some baby royals dont shed till they have had there first feed.

so it might be ok.

assist them with a few and see if they learn what food is. IF one of my hatchlings doesn't take next week I will do a video showing how I assist feed mine (or Wolfspirit will tell me off if I forget)
