Posted - 10/08/2009 : 20:06:54 Well slash is in blue mode, but thought I would try him with a rat anyway, he struck & constricted then sniffed both ends before munching the rat down backwards, seemed to struggle very slightly with the back legs, but all down event free! Bless him. |

Posted - 02/01/2010 : 22:59:29 mine doesn't do that with big rats but if i give him a mouse he usualy eats it from where he strikes it which is usualy the middle hahaha |

Posted - 02/01/2010 : 20:42:01 Cleo's did that in the past few feeds, so do you just heat up the head slightly more than the rest ? x |

Posted - 11/08/2009 : 17:24:46 Royals hunt and strike as much at heat as anything else as their eyesight isn't great, so I always superheat the head with a hair drier so that they can 'see' it better. |
