Posted - 25/08/2009 : 22:08:03 My Python is shedding, however it's not a clean shed. It's coming off in bits, from what I can see the skin that's left is along the top of the snake. Most of it is already peeling off but do I need to do anything? His head and eyes look ok, I can't see any left over skin there. He's still active and ate a few days ago.
What would cause this? He's got a huge bowl of water in his enclosure that I'm forever topping up so I thought humidity wouldn't be an issue but I guess I could be wrong. |

Posted - 25/08/2009 : 22:13:59 I'll have to see if I have anything big enough, I have got moss though.
Edit: Added moss in one of the places he hides so that should do the job. |
