Hello guys alot of questions lol,
Can you guys click on the link and tell me if you think this is a suitible enclosure for my ball python baby until hes one or do I need something else?

If you have the heatmat in the viv I would put some vinyl/lino over the top of it. |

Hiya guys,
Say if I get a wooden vivarium would I place the substrate just over the heat mat inside the viv say if the substrate was paper towels or would it set the paper towels on fire or burn the snake lying on the paper towels thanks alot,

Also does it matter that my cooler side is 65-70 degress or will my snake suit itself to what temprature it feels most comftable?

Went to the shop to buy my baby ball python and hes really nice, although they said he hasnt been eating well so I made a deposit and reserved that one however they said they would all me when they had given it two successful feeds, do you suspect they will keep trying every day to feed him until he feeeds or try every 7-10 days to see if he eats?

Having your probe with the thermometer will work too.
The up and down temperature is to be expected with an on/off stat. |

Can I put the probe in with my temprature probe under the warm hide seems to be working?,a lthought also due to my thermostat it keeps going on and off so it srepeatedly goes from 80-90 then back down to 80 then up to 90 constantly will this p*** off the snake continuosly changing all the time?

ok where should I put the matstat prob I didnt quite understand you, directly on the heatmat underneath, on the substrate in the warm end under the substrate where exactly,

Ok will it be ok tooo have that same mediam hide in the cold end exactly the same place or willl it be too cramped. Also I dont quite get what you mean in the rub under the substrate on the heat mat or does that mean directly on the heat mat.

You need a hide at both ends and I would have the probe on the floor above the heatmat, then just adjust the thermostat up or down until you get the right temperatures. |

Also can you tell me where I should put my stat prob because its not going on and off at the right temprature, e.g at 95 degrees it still keeps the light on, ive got it just in the tank shall I put it on the heat mat directly?
