                Posted - 12/04/2010 : 10:54:27  This is why I like Carpets, it has been known (though I would never try and find out) that up to 5x is possible with them. Twice their girths is VERY easy for them.
  With the Royals I tend to stick to circa their girth to 1.5x though |

                Posted - 07/04/2010 : 17:49:52  i used to follow that rule with my royal, now i just go by feeding prey 10-15% of the royal's body weight. I find that rule easier to follow.
  But yes the girth rule does apply to royals as well as cornsnakes and other snakes, i believe. |
