Posted - 04/04/2012 : 19:19:12 Hi,
My Hugo is now 880g so last month I started feeding on a 10day routine instead of the previous 7 day routine that we were previously on. The first two feeds weren't a problem but I tried to feed him the other day and just wasn't interested, I even left the rat in the viv over night and removed it and binned it in the morning.
What I would like to know is should I just right that feed off and now wait another 10 days before offering his next meal or shall I try and feed earlier than another 10 days say at 5 days? So that would be 15 days not 20 days from his last feed?
Thanks |

In all seriousness though, skipping a meal is nothing - it's really up to you if you want to try him again tonight / tomorrow / the weekend / next weekend, etc. He might just have "not felt like eating" that day. See what his activity is like - mine let me know when they want feeding, they come out hunting on a night! |
