Fed my newly christened carpet python Luna for the 1st time today, she was to nervous to strike (being near a shed) but I left the rat pup at her hide entrance and its vanished now  so glad as her breeder had a job getting her to feed at first so |

Thanks  Have to admit the name came from the Harry Potter films BATS  we were trying to decide on a name (was originally meant to be called Delta, but she doesn't suit it!) and my OH thinks Luna Lovegood is a hilarious character in the films so Luna it is! I didn't let him name the other two so felt it was his turn! |

Congrats - always nerve-wracking the first time, and difficult if you're not sure how the snake likes to feed ...Cool name by the way, suits her! |
