Posted - 23/02/2009 : 15:13:22 This is Monty - not very original but that was the name chosen by my son!!
Even more embarrassing is that Monty is a Girl (we only found out the other day).
30cms long (that's 12 inches in real money) and weighs about 400 grammes.
Can anyone tell from the photos if she is anything special colour wise or would I be right in thinking she is a 'Normal'? I am considering trying to breed her next year. |

Posted - 23/02/2009 : 18:11:16 Thanks to all on the advice on weights etc - means I don't have to ask the question.
Now just have to find her a partner and get him up to the right size as well. If we won't be doing any breeding for a while it will give me time to find the right one. |

Posted - 23/02/2009 : 18:03:33 Nice reduced pattern normal. If she's only 400g, she's got a long way to go before breeding. Safe weights and ages are considered a minimum of 1500-1800g and 3 years old. |
