As some of you already know, 3 weeks ago when Steve was away I had my Furby out. I set him on the sofa, curled up while I cleaned the hob. A mix of cleaning chemicals on the clost..I passed out, hit my head and was out cold.
Anyway when I came to and crawled back to sofa, by darling Boa was gone.

I searched everywhere except where he had been, cos yesterday Steve found him, but we were too late..he had died.

I am heartbroken, I loved my Furby.

What if sari accidentally swallows you when he yawns?
JanieW Posted - 20/01/2013 : 01:13:25
Thankyou xx

lol Jonny, nah Saru is not a real snake. all he does is press againt ya and yawn, damn never seen a snake yawn so often.

Cheers Hayden, my head is fine now..was tender for a few days..I usually get Kit to hold them while I do the clean out, or with the snake in the viv.

Thank You Frambo, I still can't understand why he would stay in the only cold area of a room that is a constant 27c..makes no sense..I even had a mouse set about 2' away.

Very very sorry to hear of your loss. A combination of circumstances that led to your unfortunate loss.

You have my sincere condolences.

I am also very sorry to hear about your loss =( When I clean my royals out, I either a) individually clean them, placing one of them in a tub. or B) Get them all out and into a Large tub (They get along fine) and give them all a quick clean.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss and I hope your head is ok =(

Very sorry to hear about your loss. I hope you dont ever get knocked out when Saru is an adult, you might wake up inside him!!!
JanieW Posted - 18/01/2013 : 23:42:17
I'm sorry not to have replied for awhile, but all your kind messages help. I am upset losing Furby, he was a lovely Boa and sweet natured..can't replace him for sure and I won't try.
Its hard to stay down in the pit of despair when all the others suddenly start demanding attention, especially Saru the Retic..he laid tight against me this morning, pushed his nose through my fingers and settled with his chin in the palm of my hand.

So thankyou xx

I also meant to add that had you not have been knocked unconcious the chances are this wouldnt have occured so i see no real need for anyone to point the finger directly at you as it was in no way your fault. take care xxx

JanieW im so sorry to hear of your terrible loss, i too leave matilda curled up on my sofa while i do other things so am guily of the self same supposed error, after reading of your awful devestating loss i will not be doing this again just in case the same thing happens to me, you however are not to blame for this heartbreaking accident, we all make mistakes, we are only human, im quite sure just like me you have left furby quite safely on your sofa whilst you are only a short distance away, we would never think it would ne so easy to lose a snake of her obvious size. i hope you can get over this terrible incident, thinking of you at this very sad time. much love to you xxxxx RIP furby xxx

My name is Sue, we have only had Royals for about a year but they are part of the family. I would be devastated if anything happened to any of ours :( <<<hugs>>>

Thanks Kelf, and you too Eyeball :)
Noodle is a sweetie and they have the knack of entwining our hearts. The closest snake we have..well two is Winny and Saru the Retic, in infact Saru is out mooching on Steve right now.

I'm very sorry to hear about Furby Janie. We've only had Noodle for a month or so and we're already so attached to him!

I'm also glad to hear that you're ok after being knocked out by those chemicals!
