Noticed something on earl last night that I havn`t noticed before, it is 2 what look like nails on either side of his bum area, any ideas of what these are called and what they are used for, quite strange ive never noticed them before but there again would like to think I don`t look around that area much lol

Found it strange that ive never noticed them before so maybe become more pronounced with breeding cycle/hormones or something ?

Posted - 01/02/2011 : 15:14:46 Yeah, they serve little purpose now, but apparently when they mate, the male will actually move his spurs back and forth to stroke the female and get her in the mood  |
