Had earl out today and sunlight caught him(yip I know what ur all thinking, SUNLIGHT????) lol but anyway noticed a blue sheen on his dard patches especially his head is this a normal thing for a royal ?
I tried to catch it on camera but no luck unfortunately

Posted - 09/03/2011 : 11:06:04 Yeah, Tig has the same, almost rainbow effect to his dark colour, especialy on his head. It's one of the favorite things I like about Royals is that blue oil-on-water effect they have : )
scubadude, yeah I think that's what people mean. We don't have it here anymore so maybe throwing sticks at it worked? |

I know what you mean - it's a shock to see them in sunlight - hard to remember it exists ... |
