Hiya

Had earl out today and sunlight caught him(yip I know what ur all thinking, SUNLIGHT????) lol but anyway noticed a blue sheen on his dard patches especially his head is this a normal thing for a royal ?

I tried to catch it on camera but no luck unfortunately

Yeah, Tig has the same, almost rainbow effect to his dark colour, especialy on his head. It's one of the favorite things I like about Royals is that blue oil-on-water effect they have : )

scubadude, yeah I think that's what people mean. We don't have it here anymore so maybe throwing sticks at it worked?

They are beautiful and almost irredescent in the right light. Not quite as impressive as a BRB but still beautiful.

what is this 'Sunlight' thing you speak of? if you mean the big fiery ball in the sky I suspect it's a UFO. we throw sticks at it around these parts!

It certainly is - if you go to the homepage on TRP where the pic of the royal is larger, you'll see a beautiful example.

I know what you mean - it's a shock to see them in sunlight - hard to remember it exists ...
