Hi,

Just wanted share my experience.

I have a habistat dimming thermostat I have had for just over a year or so which malfunctioned basically it stopped dimming and was flat out all the time, thankfully I had a spare!

I was aware they came with a 5 year garantee so went to my local rep shop who sells them and he gave me the adress to return it to. So on Tuesday 10th jan I posted it first class recorded with a short covering letter explaining my fault, also I never had any receipts or proof of purchase which I was worried may cause me grief.

Yesterday 12th jan I had a parcel try to be delivered, Wich I have just collected from the sorting office and there it was , a letter explaining the fault with my thermostat and also a new thermostat Wich in the letter states they have repaired mine but to me looks like a brand new unit just without the packaging, it has new sticky pads on the back !

I am really pleased with there service and there extremely quick turn around!!

Congrats - glad to hear of the good service!

Just before Christmas I received some kit from a well known supplier (who shall be nameless) but when a couple of weeks later I finally got round to installing a certain item, I realised it was damaged, a small plastic part was cracked and split apart and although the item still worked, since it was electrical and to do with heat, I couldn't be sure if it would be safe, even guarded from the snake.

The supplier says all damages have to be reported within 7 days. My stupid mistake for not knowing that and not checking everything over on arrival, I know, and the price of a replacement unit is a small price to pay for the safety of a snake. But all the same I feel a bit ripped off ...

So good to hear of a place who will look after their customers.

Yea that's right I'm still in a bit of disbelief how well and easy the whole process was usually things like that are a right head ache!!
