hi my snake sid keeps making hissy sounds i dunno if i should be alarmed or not..shes in relatively good health just whenever we get her out she makes a puff kind of noise and its quite worrying....

can anyone help us :(

how often are you handling her?

i handle my royal once or twice a week max for around 15 mins each time..

i NEVER handle him before a feed or for at least 48 hours after a feed.

As long as its only when you first get her out and not a constant thing. No signs of bubbles or mucus around the mouth/nostrills?

mine does it even when she isnt shedding just when shes out of her viv
