hello my royal shed for the first time only he has a big piece of skin still on the middle of him,shud i assist or leave him 2 it,thx

lol...Gingerpony is the resident health person on here..her advice is stellar....

and she was right that the moss box is far less stressful than a bath...

thanks a million guys,gr8 advice i used blackecho's tip,probably cos of the quality logo,a little p***ed off and made it clear by p***ing and ****ting on me but shed complete now,what a beautiful animal,thanks 4 all the advice guys

I would bathe in luke warm water and then let it run through a towel.

One of my new snakes had a real bad time last night shedding - he only managed to get a small peice off his one eye.

I bathed him for 15 mins and sat him on my lap and rubbed him down with a damp cloth. He wasnt happy at first but I think he soon realised I was helping him and let me get on with it.

So if the moss advice doesnt work try a damp paper towel and rub the area where the skin is and it should come away.

add a damp hide for a few days and hopefully it'll resolve itself without much stress
