add a damp hide for a few days and hopefully it'll resolve itself without much stress

One of my new snakes had a real bad time last night shedding - he only managed to get a small peice off his one eye.

I bathed him for 15 mins and sat him on my lap and rubbed him down with a damp cloth. He wasnt happy at first but I think he soon realised I was helping him and let me get on with it.

So if the moss advice doesnt work try a damp paper towel and rub the area where the skin is and it should come away.

lol...Gingerpony is the resident health person on here..her advice is stellar....

and she was right that the moss box is far less stressful than a bath...

Glad you got it off...
