hi can any1 tell me how to remove the skin on my snakes eyes?? this is the 1st time its happened an im worryd fanks

You're not rubbing his eyes, they have scales over their eyes (clear ones), hence the need to shed those along with the rest of the scales.

Still, you must be very gentle.

he shed bout 2 weeks ago but did not shed fully so i gave him a bath an the rest of the shed came off except for his eyes! ill put another moist hide in an give him a bath later! im scared bout rubing his eyes with cotton wool tho..is it painfull for him??

There are several ways of removing eyecaps.

* Try just popping a moist hide in the viv/ rub (If you don't already have one in there) This may do the job itself.

*Try soaking cotton wool buds in warm water, then GENTLY sweeping over the eye. (you could possibly do this in conjunction with giving the snake a bath as that might help soften the skin, but also may cause undue stress)

When did they shed?
