thanks danny yeah 3 weeks without a feed i didnt even have chance to get the rat in his viv before he nailed it lol
he was on baytrill every day for 3 weeks and a viv clean every 3-4 days just to be on the safe side.

he will def be hungry after 3 weeks, it would be like me not eating for a day (3 meals a day) i would scoff down anything that got in my way the day after lol
Blackecho Posted - 26/10/2010 : 06:15:05
Don't worry, 3 weeks is nothing at all, it will give him a chance to get over it and then hopefully he'll be nice and hungry for you, ready to start eating again.
jmlg1986 Posted - 25/10/2010 : 22:03:59
thanks b.e the vet said he is nice and chunky so think i will just leave it then.
i just hope he is still a realy good eater after not eating for 3 weeks but aslong as he gets better i will be happy
Blackecho Posted - 25/10/2010 : 21:25:23
Hi, if he's not underweight I'd just leave him for the 3 weeks, won't do him any harm unless he was in a serious weight condition prior to the RI.

Hi, I'm really sorry to hear that and hope he recovers asap.

Sorry I can't advise (although I have an idea it depends on the individual snake) and I'd be interested to know myself whether feeding in this situation is a good idea.

But just wanted to wish the little guy a speedy recovery.
