bullet shed last night, of course it was all in bits
but on the kitchen roll there was a slight amount of blood, not alot, just a smear of it, is this normal when they shed for there to be a slight amount of blood? ill get a pic of the amount, its only small, not much to worry about, and i have checked him over and he is fine, but just wondering what it is

hiya my male always has a bit on each shed , but my girls dont no sure y but unless u see it coming from some where or showing signs or stress etc i wouldnt worry x

oh ok, i now my corn once had it, its no where near enough blood to even be concerned about, but just thought id ask if it was normal lol

Almost all of mine has a little droplet of blood after shedding from that area, I think it's probably their spurs.

Yup, I've heard the same - never actually seen it yet, but I understand it's perfectly normal.

I thought it was from the vent area, but just thought I'd ask incase it was a problem

It may be from the vent area, have seen it a few times with other snakes and it is nothing to worry about
