bullet shed last night, of course it was all in bits but on the kitchen roll there was a slight amount of blood, not alot, just a smear of it, is this normal when they shed for there to be a slight amount of blood? ill get a pic of the amount, its only small, not much to worry about, and i have checked him over and he is fine, but just wondering what it is |

It may be from the vent area, have seen it a few times with other snakes and it is nothing to worry about |

Yup, I've heard the same - never actually seen it yet, but I understand it's perfectly normal. |

Almost all of mine has a little droplet of blood after shedding from that area, I think it's probably their spurs. |
