After reading Ali's post the other day about putting stuarts and rolands that her reps have turned down out for the crows and magpies I thought I would do the same. We have several pairs of both that live around here so I thought it would help them out a bit.
Anyway, chucked a large weaner that hadn't been nommed up on the garage roof yesterday and it was still there when I went to bed. Woke up this morning and went out the garden for the wake up cup of tea and a fag (Anatess: That's a cigarette in the UK not a homosexual ) or two. There was a crow sitting in one of my neighbours tall shrubs quite happily pecking away at my little gift. The problem is that the crow has wedged the roland in the branches for safe keeping and left it there!.
It looks like a goth version of a star on a christmas tree. Makes me giggle like a schoolboy whenever I go out the garden now. Sorry for the long post but if it helps put a smile on your face then it was worth it . |

Not as funny as watching the miserable old git trying to get it out of the tree. He was struggling a bit. I've got a mahooooosive beachcaster rod in the garage that I could have helped him out with but he is SOOOO grumpy it was more entertaining to watch him struggle |

I didn't do it. The crow did .
I might buy a few more small weaners or mice than I need when I go to the rep store just for the entertainment value |

Don't feed the crows or the magpies! They are evil! They would eat your brains if you let them. |

They might be good looking, but I bet they wouldn't think twice about eating your eye if you laid too still sunbathing one day |
