Hi all,

Does anyone, or does anyone know people who house royals in the Exo Terra's?

I love the look of them but my concerns are -
1) how you would heat it for a royal?
2) would the all glass housing cause a stress issue?

Thanks in advance
Ant.

For the glass I would recommend covering 3 sides with some sort of backing.

Do they have a mesh top? - if so you could have a heat bulb above it, otherwise it would have to be a heat mat.

Yeah i was thinking of ditching the fake wall they come with and putting some scenic backing on back and sides! The top is mesh so i assume i can hook up a ceramic!

Thanks

Ant.

Like in that picture, the bulbs are in a holder that just sits on top.

I like the look of them also...but i dont think it is big enough for a fully grown royal. so you will eventually have to end up buying another viv...just something to consider as they are not cheap..

Thanks all and thanks for posting Karl. Do you heat with a ceramic that sits on top of the lid or inside?
