As the title says really.
Thought it might be worth a go now that I have a set of scales that work and he's weighing in at a mighty 621g empty 
I'm thinking of switching Sherman over to ceramic 24/7 instead of switching it off and using a heatmat at night. Does the lack of temperature drop at night have any significant effect?
Would it be benefitial or not? Any thoughts anyone?

ra's on ceramic 24/7, it doesn't seem to bother him, there's a good temp gradient in the viv so he can choose :D

thank god we dont have 27 hour days, i would end up killing the kids..
On the subject of ceramics, i would use them asap maybe even from when they are little, but make sure he has a moss box as i was told a couple of times that ceramics tend to dry the air out..hence i leave mine in all the time...

I run them 24/7 with no probs...
if you were wanting to keep the night time drop you could get a stat with either the night eye(habistat) or magic eye(microclimate) function. |
