Kazzie has been running a marathon round her rub the last 24/36 hours...
do i need to be concerned with this behaviour?
i know snakes like to try and get out but she is always trying to get out, she should be sleeping now, but no, she has been at it since i got up this morning and still doing the rounds..
its like she does not want to be in there, and,
her rub looks like a bomb has hit it..lol..
temps are 31 warm end and cool end is 27, i know it is not much of a drop, but getting it right in such a small area is not easy...
two hides the warm end, one hide and a moss box the cool end plus a dinky water bowl.. |

She gave me a fright the other day, i caught her twice with her head up at on top of one of her hides, and i sat there thinking, how the heck am i going to explain another RI...

| Must admit that it does sound like she doesn't like the smell of something. The Hoff did do something similar but not for as long as that. He just cruises around probing for weaknesses in his RUB. |

if that is so, why has it taken till now for her to do that? she was ok till Tuesday night..so had been in there five days.

thank you....
she is not going fast cos she is in a 9l rub and its hard to go fast in it, but she was all over the place, and yes she was looking for a way out some of the time, but is that nnot a snakey thing?
she last fed the sunday before i got her, that was the first time in 3 weeks and was a force feed. |

she may be hungry and exploring...as long as she is not looking like she is stressed and racing round(hard to explain) i would just monitor her...she may just have some energy from the food now...
try feeding her again... |

but if she is stressed she is not going to feed is she?
anyone got any suggestions as to which way i go if i feed her?
remember this is the girl who will only take one pinkie on a force feed.

heat it up using hair dryer (or something) then as just is exploring just give it a wiggle... hopefully she will slow right down and investigate...
I wouldnt go overboard with the wiggling...dont want to scare her... |

just to let you know, she settled fine after she had fed, so she must have been starving..lol..
next feed wednesday, have tweezers now so may go for a defrost...if it fails then off to get another live;-) |
