Still have not had the pleasure of holding her either..lol..

well she ate, and you didn't have to force her!
i'd say you have earned a large chocolate cake.
i highly recomend sainsburys chocolate fudge cake.
it's on offer. mmmm chocolate...
will you try to hold her in a few days or will you wait until she has established feeding a bit better?

Hmmm chocolate..well i did have a cadbury mini roll, but it was the new mint one. its delicious..lol...

I wont handle her till i have her feeding routine properly in place, as much as i want to, i wnat her to feed first...

Just sent a text to her previous owner as she was not impressed i had fed her live, and she cant believe i had a strike feed..lol..

i cant either, was not expecting it, she made me jump...but just goes to show you doesnt it..lol...

Well, i spoke to someone on the dark side who feeds them and even during the breeding season they stop feeding, but getting them going again using multi's is easier..

They are an African species so i think that might be why, they grow slower, but do reach the same size as rats...there fur is softer and they dont smell so dont get that urine smell on them either, which some people i've spoken to think it makes a difference, but dont quote me..lol..

they are also known as Possum Mice..

they had a pair at the pet shop i went to the other day...i have a tank to keep them in as well....

but they are slow growers so would take a while to reach eating size..lol..

LOL i think i will stick to my idea of breeding rats then :)
though as i said, i do know a couple of people who breed multi's so i will keep that in mind if i have any feeding problems.
do you think corns/crb's will like them too?
