My wife out of general concern sent an email to the fire brigade to enquire of what kind of fire alarm would be best to use in a kitchen above 2 vivs.

she is delighted with their reply as they are going to send her out some fire men to have a look.

now why didnt i think of that?

obviously to get the fire alarm sorted nothing else.

That's why I don't really mind when the students set the fire alarm off at the College- they always have to send an engine full out. It's the only plus point to Health and Safety procedures
