Hi all,
My little 09 shed last night which is weird because it was only last night i thought i would add some moss to his log hide ... spooky!
Anyway a quick glance this morning and i see he has one retained eyecap and a patch on his neck. Didnt have time to deal with this morning (little thing called work!) so when i get home tonight any tips on removing the eyecap? He wants to eat anything and EVERYTHING that moves at the moment and hasnt been handled much (age and moving him etc) so i dont fancy trying to pick this eye cap off.
I'm thinking warm damp cloth or perhaps a soak and then cloth?
Anyone? |

take the other hides out and replace with moss boxes x2 if you need to.
much less stressful on the little guy...or do what i also did for Kazz on her first shed and add some screwed up damp kitchen roll..
but i need not have bothered cos she used her moss box... |

as Anne's reply, if you can help him do it himself it's a lot less stressful all round |

I went for the bath and kitchen roll approach. He wasnt amused but i went really slowly and gently.
He is so fiesty and fast. Im used to good old trusty Obran but this guy is just an eating machine and seems in constant feeding mode
So freshly shed, what ya think?
