my partner has just built a wood viv for Ella and we arent sure bout vents and stuff. been lookin for them brilliant pics on here of the viv bein built but cant find them!
the viv is 3'L 20"H 18"D

thanx BE so do u think that 2 of the plastic vents will be enuf? which are better, the plastic or the mesh vents? where wud be best to place them? one on each side? both up warm end? 1 warm end 1 cool end???

I'd have at least 2, 1 at either end, maybe 1 in the middle too.

i got all mine off ebay. i have 2 vents in all of our vivs which are 2foot6. our vent size is one of the largest tho i went for the 76mm vents.

you can get vents from B&Q or any oyher DIY store. the ones i bought are called soffit vents.

I used 1 then had to add another to keep the humidity down. put them diagonally one at each end.
