yay yeehaaaaa! congrats on the feed, i think i'd settle for her eating chicks on a regular basis then try to wean her off them when she's a more established feeder. if you can keep her going on chicks for another month or so and get her weight up again have you thought about a short brumation (as she's an adult) to try and kick start the feeding response, hopefully on Rolands? |

hi guys,
well she took another chick after the first one so really happy. got some gerbils yesterday so gonna try her on them, tryed to get some chicks so i could follow on feed a rat weener, but some lady had just bought 50 from the shop for her barn owl and cleared them out so took the gerbils instead. they are about the size of weener rolands so is a good starting place if she takes them.
is chick poo really that bad??? |

Chick poo is really runny- not much solidness at all. When Nagini was on chicks we had to clean her out weekly because she managed to smear it all over the viv, all her hides, in her water bowl and all the plants. Awful poo.
You'll know a chick poo when you try and pick it up with some toilet roll and you get a soak through |

wow that's fantastic news, i nearly cried!
i'm not sure why, but i wouldn't feed any less than 5 days apart, sorry i can't justify this thought with anything other than allowing her time to digest her last meal |
