ive been noticing that inside my exo-terra cave hide on the warm side, there is quite alot of condensation on the roof.

is this a problem, as in will it cause any health issues such as RI's?

do any of you guys have the same problem or am i worrying over nothing?

Not overly high then. Is it you that's got the red lamp on for heating at night?

ok guys...

i put digital thermometer in last nite and its holding steady at around 15*C...i know its to cold but how would you recommend that i raise the thermal gradient. hot end is a steady 32*C.

also i noticed that the substrate(newspaper) under her warm hide was soaking wet like someone had poured water in there, and the humidity was 100%(its a dial one GP) and there was condinsation in the cold end. it wasnt last nite wen i went to bed at midnite and i got up at 7.30am.
I think she had been for a swim in her bowl then spread it around. there was a urate ball in there also...

does anyone else have issues like this wen using RUB's...

I would say that she has just weed and it has evaporated. Thats what happened with Zavvi when she was in a RUB.

Maybe by increasing the abient air temperature by using a light/ceramic heat source?

Ceramic or a mix of red light bulb and heat mat is probably the best way, like matty says though it's hard to do in a rub.
We use a red bulb to bring the ambient air temp up, and the heat mat is on at night. when we get the new stack we'll be converting to ceramic with a pulse stat.

Think our house is colder than yours daz B but never check the temp of the house. I do know the snakes are warmer than us! We've got an old back boiler that costs a fortune to run, so we put more layers on. heating is only on for 4 hours a day in the winter. I can't wait to get a combi boiler!
