Same as Jo (my wife) then. It's not the car, it's your driving skills. She's got a Previa and likes nothing more than showing the boy-racers how it's done. She's looking at the Evo range for when we don't need a 'bus' anymore. She's a total petrol-head too

I prefer a good looking classic that's got power! I would love to do some rally driving but not in this icy nastiness, nearly piled the car this morning... well did, but luckily only kerbed the wheel as I was only going slow - front wheel drive cars and ice just don't mix! It was the person sliding up behind me that had me worried, she stopped just in time!
We should set up a "My Car" post in the General Post section so we can see who's got what! (although we got to be careful not to make this into a car forum) |

Jo was dribbling over Vinnie's convertable Mustang on EastEnders the other day. It's about the only car that we agree on. We're both a nightmare at Beaulieu. Argueing about BHP, etc. It only stops when we reach the motorbikes, then it's my turn to start dribbling. |

Car thread on a snake forum?
That would be alright if you didn't already have a car focused website with a forum on it Lewy!
Just start a 'Other car' section on www.stagmad.co.uk |

i help run a couple of websites on other subjects....
what we do on those sites is to have what is called an 'off topic discussion' section (right down the bottom of the main forum front)
i know that this sounds weird but it is actually pro - productive to the site as members can chat about ANYTHING thats not specific subject. this helps because obviously you strike up new mates due to having the 'specific' in common... and it helps really enhance good web relationships (not the sex kind lol)
off topics we have include ' late night drunk texts (funny cos people can spell when tipsy lol) phots of you so all can see who they chat too. and well anything really :)
we find people check in more, but then its a totally different type of site (retro gaming sites - real nerdy stuff lol)
