hey was just wondering how bad r the royals bites i no it depends on how big it is i aint worried if i do get bit tho.and do they tend to bite much at all.sorry 4 the silly questions
I have not beed bitten YET,but i have heard that it's more of a shock than the pain as there teeth a like needles.if they do bite i think it's usally a case of mistaken identity (finger for food). As long as you feed out of the viv your royal should learn the differance and know when he's got food coming and when he's not.
I have been "bitten" once, when our Royal mistook my hand for a rat during feeding (now have longer feeding tongs!). He was only little at the time (?6 or 7 months). It was more like a scratch than a bite, and it didn't hurt and didn't break the skin. But it was an unpleasant surprise, to us both, I'm sure! It didn't put him off his rat, though.
