Why would you want to stop her striking?

I agree with matty, striking is there natural instinct,i find its one of the high points to owning a snake and the speed and agility of a strike i still find amazing every time, even still makes me jump now and again if im not ready.

How big is it Vicki (weight wise)?

3 pups sounds like it should be ready to move up.

After 7 months, strike feeding is one of the highlights! Just enjoy it?

Generally lee thats the rule but if the snake is out and about there is not harm in offering it food.

You can try, it won't harm, just try not to stress her. If she isn't interested don't keep persisting

You do know that if you do feed her on the floor of the viv to put something down so that she doesn't get any substrate on her food? Ingesting substrate isn't good for snakes

i dont really know why he wants her to stop strikin? i think cos they said at the shop that she feeds off the floor and that they dont sell them if they strike? they implied that strikin is aggressive? ur rite it is awesome when she strikes tho! think we will leave her as she is but we just suddenly remembered wot they had said??

she weighs 110g BE this is the most shes had in 1 go, normally only 1 or 2. so stay with pups or move up? wot wud be next??

Vicki, my snakes strike. I think that it means they show a healthy interest in their food and makes feeding a highlight of keeping snakes.

I'd suggest trying a Rat Fuzzy if you can find one

Like BE said, 1 rat fuzzy may be suitable if you can find them. Just make sure its give or take the same as the snakes girth.
