loads of places to get cheap RUBs from and the wood is easy to get hold of. been looking at loads of racking systems today on another forum and some look excellent.
Ball pythons do well in racks since they are not very active snakes and only go out to hunt or breed. The racks are easier to environmentally control than a viv. The tub essentially becomes their "hide". Of course, it has to be big enough so the snake can thermoregulate and it also needs to have a big enough water bowl, so a lot of folks add another hide inside the tub that is just big enough for the snake to crawl into for added security. They get their stimulation/exercise from handling, so you would kinda need to handle your snakes a lot with this system.

if its the ReallyUsefulBox ones i personally would say no.
its internal dimensions are 605 x 370 x 200 (mm) this works out to be 24x15x8 which i think is to small for a adult royal python considering you are recommended using a 36x24x24 (3x2x2) viv for a adult.
