Hey, just wondered where the best placement for the probe on a dimming thermostat would be? On floor under basking spot, off the floor for air temp, up the cool end?? Think the hot end is about 88F - that ok? Many thanks x

88F is fine. Put the probe on the basking spot.

as matty said, on the substrate, even under the warm hide if you're using a heatmat. i'd double check the temp with a thermometer rather than relying on what the stat says too
